Lynne Thompson is the author of two chapbooks, We Arrive By Accumulation (SeaMoon Press) and Through A Window (Conflüx Press) and of Beg No Pardon, which won the Perugia Press Book Award and the Great Lakes Colleges Association’s New Writers Award. Her recent work has appeared in numerous journals including Ploughshares, Sou’Wester and Solo Novo, as well as the anthologies New Poets of the American West and Saltian “to dance”. Scripps College and Emory University commissioned her to write work to accompany the installation of a sculpture and a choreographic piece, respectively, and her poems have been recognized with multiple Pushcart Prize nominations as well as finalist recognition in by Runes, Margie and the Lois Cranston Memorial Poetry Prize. Having recently completed a fellowship at the Vermont Studio Center, Thompson is currently at work on a new as-yet-untitled full-length manuscript.
